Earlier that is hundred to two hundred years ago only few people consumed alcohol when compared to total population. Now the situation has revered not only the number of alcohol consumers have increased the average intake of alcohol by an individual has also increased. This is because of western culture and people are unaware of ill effects of high intake of alcohol. If a person consumes alcohol daily or in larger amount then it affects our body in five different ways. Our body protein synthesis is affected by 20% which will weaken our muscles. Protein synthesis is a process where all amino acids are combined together to form a muscle. In men’s body secretion of testosterone is very important for muscle growth. The amount of testosterone is less for those who consume alcohol. When one consumes alcohol their kidney’s has to involve more fluids and time to separate alcohol from blood. Vitamins A,B,C and minerals like zinc, potassium are very helpful for various activities of the body. Alcohol drains these vitamins and minerals thus causing dangerous affects for metabolism. The most important effect of alcohol is putting more weight to the body. One gram of alcohol gives seven empty calories which in turn deposits as fat in the body. One can try any thing in the world but with a caution mind. So start reducing alcohol intake I possible try to leave it for happy future.
