How to find time..

Most of us, lets be honest, can’t find the time to do a lot of things in a single day. Invariably, we end up thinking why couldn’t i finish that?? So I would like to share with you simple ways to get that extra time you so desparately need. First of all, getting up early can help a lot. Now, hold your horses, I am not asking you to wake up at four am right away. Try bettering your own personal best by half an hour. When you can do that consistently, increase the “difficulty” and wake up one or two hours earlier. Soon you’ll realise that you have plenty of time to do your tasks without any problem. Also prioritizing work and then finishing them off can go a long way in saving valuable time. The old adage goes, “Never put off work for tomorrow that you can do today”. How true indeed..

Technique of teaching

Teaching is an art. Not everybody can teach and make the students understand the concept. If the teacher does not teach well then it really doesn’t mean that she doesn’t know the concepts properly, It simply reflects that his or her teaching ability is less. Every student is not same. Each student has been different grasping power. It is essential that every teacher should understand the power of thinking and power of knowledge of each student then teach accordingly. Teaching as different aspects. Simply teaching the concepts is one way and explaining the concepts with real time examples, diagrams are another way. It later is difficult to grasp where as former is considered to be the best way of teaching. Separate teacher training courses are available, which tells the Staff, how to explain the concepts and how to make the class an active and lively. Teach what you know clearly and make others learn.

The art of listening

It’s not an easy skill to learn by any means. Very few people in the world are blessed with it. I’m talking about the art of listening! It may sound strange, but just think, how many of us are really good listeners? Listening has often been quoted to be a soft-skill, but in my opinion, it is a life-skill. Most of us love to be the dominant speaker, but how many of us really pay attention to what is being said? A good listener has a lot to gain over a poor listener. By listening, we can many a time get to know things which otherwise would have been lost in all the noise. Therefore listen more, learn more.

The curse of competition

The modern world is plagued by the problems of unemployment and over population. Charles Darwin’s theory of “survival of the fittest” seems to be the order of the day. This cut-throat competition has been exacerbated by the promulgation of the economic crisis. Slowly but steadily, the pestilential nature of the crisis has encompassed the globe and left millions jobless. What is even more horrifying is the fact that some of the best have been sacked from their jobs. It seems like no one is safe, not even the best. Only a handful who have escaped the wrath of the crisis continue to work at their respective places wondering warily when their turn might come…
